WGT play's like the Pros do, no stroke/distance on OB's like we play at home.
IRL, say we tee off OB and know it, we hit a provisional, take a quick look for the first ball, take our penalty and we are laying 3 hitting the provisional.
Same thing happens when we hit one, take the walk...find it's OB..we usually drop a ball in bounds, lay 3 and hit.
WGT does like the Pros do (probably a rule for all I know), on the PGA tour, you'll see Pros heading back to the tee when they find they are OB. You don't see this too often tho (heading back) because the courses are lined with Marshals, and the Player knows it's OB right away.
