I played this game about 18 months ago, and am just now getting back into it....I purchased a few clubs, but with all the new clubs, I need some advice.....the main thing I am looking for is what I need to improve my game ASAP....here is my current setup....

    Taylormade R9 8.5D(275yds)

    TourBurner 3Wood (225yds)

    TourBurner 2 Hybrid (212yds)

WGT Starter Hybrid and Irons and Wedges and Putter

...seems to me that a lot of people think Wedges are very important...should this be my next purchase? Or a putter? Or just save for an iron set?

I am a level 39 with 75 credits (dumb survey).....I would like to keep my out of pocket expenses under 10 bucks per month.

    Thanks for your help!

Better wedges, hands down! I've always preferred the TM Z-satins( still using the pro ones, in fact) but the Pings are good, too.  Sticking  those short approaches close will make any putter look better, so you could still manage with the starter or beginner putter for a long time if you wanted to.

A baseball bat in your bag to beat the caddie for giving you the wrong scale on a putt :-P

Wedges all day, specifically the Satin 64w. I still use it.  Learn all of the shots with all of your clubs while you're at it. Good wedges give you 5 different shots each! Starters do too but with some spin and accuracy your scores will plummet.  GL  :-)

Absolutely agree, a great wedge.  I had the 56, 60 and 64, they're level 38 and 39 if I remember right.  You'll have to drop the hybrid to carry 3 wedges but it's worth it.

The 64 on it's own is probably about the best shots saved per $ buy out there.

I now have the Clevelands which are great but to be honest I don't think the 64 is worth nearly 4 times the price of the Satin.
