  Ok guys, i need lots of advise now. Thinking of buying a new putter and it stands between 3.

  1st: Spider putter (L19+). Heard lots of good comments about it but also some bad about the precision. But this one seems like the choice for me at moment. 

  2nd: Answer putter (L28+). Have mostly read bad things about this putter and that the accuracy is even worse than Spider one. Please tell me what you think. 

  3rd: Redwood putter (L44+). Will have to wait 13 levels to be able to get it but maybe its worth it, i manage ok with starter putter i think. Is it worth the waiting or should i go for any of the other 2?

  Forget the Spyder.

  The Anser will set you up nicely for the Redwood. Players that claim the Anser isn't as accurate as the Spyder are very wrong. It usually means they tried it and were blown away by how much it doesn't forgive like the starter or Spyder. Get past the learning curve with it and you will be happy. I used it for a long time until the Redwood came out and the transition was very easy.

  I don't know if Jim speaks from previous experience or not, but I  used the Spider from  amateur until made pro and even though I kept it until then I hated it. Shoot the starter is almost as good if not better than the Spider. Forget it and either get the Anser or wait until you can get the Redwood.

  There are a couple of legends in our club who use the beginners putter and swear by it.

  I tried the Spider and found it pretty useless, there are also many who swear by it.

  Never tried the Anser, got the Redwood which was good and then Rossa Daytona which works great for me.

  The phrase what works for me might not work for you probably applies more to putters than any other club.  You could rent and try a few but the trouble is you need a while to get used to a new one, a day is not really enough.

  Good luck finding the right one.

  I never tried the Spyder-it was the other choice when the Anser came out and I took the Anser. The Spyder experience comes from watching it being used. :-)  I went Anser, Redwood, Redwood, Ghost.

  What MM said is most true. One day's rental is not nearly enough to learn a club. 20-30 rounds over all the courses is a must before you condemn it or adore it.

  Most of the answers did say to stay away from the Spider. Either of the others will do you nicely. However there is at least one Legend you is still using the starter putter. So it is what ever feels right and works best for you. Even though I own the best Redwood and the Rossa Daytona I still use the starter putter occasionally.
