I know a lot of the top players get this .....but after a while it can be annoying dealing with all the requests from lower level players badgering for us to buy them equipment.....if they ask once...thats fine. Its the ones that will post on your wall or send endless pm's that are annoying........nobody ever bought me any equipment.....nor did i ask.

This subject needs to get bumped ........ Cappy said I needed to look at the long term that this problem has been brought to WGT's attention so let's just get to the Solution. How about WGT posting a folder that says Donation Assistance and let them post in there and make it against the rules to post on profiles. Then those that truly need a bit of help have some place to go........ Those that feel generous have some place to look .....and this panhandling on profiles will be ended. Now I don't mean to be rude when I say this but WGT you have made a good profit at selling balls but with all due respect ya all need to Grow Some Balls and start taking a firmer position on protecting players from some things.

Me personally? I am so sick and tired of when I tell someone no I won't add them they have the ability to bug the living h. e.l.l. out of me with add requests....or when they act in a way that is less then desirable they can stalk me and my profile.... I want the ability to ignore people and that means I don't want them to know I am on this site. Let them believe I fell off the earth because surely I want that for them.......

What do you say we put some energy into better conditions so that we actually get to do what the site says upon entrance ENJOY A GAME !!

    Hugssssss,

Well i have put some thought in to this and have come up with an approach that satisfies me. I will review requests that i get and on a case by case basis i will decide whether or not to help the individual.

What i will do is issue a challenge to them....i will in some cases help some individuals...but they must meet my challenges. For example i have just issued a challenge to an individual to drop their scoring avg by one stroke. If this challenge is met by individual i will fulfill their requested clubs they wish for. I will do this on a case by case basis only. This will tell me if the individual is serious about improving his/her game and makes me feel better about helping them. I will give this a try for a bit and see how it goes.......will give an update on this later...

    6six6:

Set your profile to available friends only, or hidden.

When they want to be friends select no and don't ask me again.

If you don't like their panhandling on their profiles don't read them.

And quit whining. Not really worth the stress is it?

I do stay in hidden a lot for this reason but I shouldn't have to .......and the don't ask me again doesn't work all the time especially as WGT upgrades........

Now the rest of your comments you get the two fingers down my throat look .........It takes NO GUTS to be mean.......IT TAKES GUTS TO BE NICE ............ Gut it up!

( Looks at the active military and retired military people online and says Six  and gigglesssss...... *Wink* )

You know Cappy ......some of  my favorite Actors was the great late Bob Hope ( who was actually not a bad golf player ) and the great Late Bing Crosby (Not a great golfer but a great lover of Golf)  anywaysssssssssssss one of my favorite things about Bob Hope was that he had signed so many autographs in his lifetime. There came a point in time where Bob Hope and Bing Crosby were together and they were approached by a group of people that wanted autographs. Being the wise crack that Bob Hope was he told the group " We will sign autographs if you sing, dance or tell us a joke" So there 30 some people stood entertaining Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. They laughed so hard they all cried together. Bob Hope referred to it as one of the most precious memories he had with Bing. In later interviews people asked Bob Hope why he did that......he said " If you give someone something for nothing they don't value it much. Those folks worked for that autograph and I bet they hold on to it far longer then those I just gave it away to...Plus Bing was in a bad mood and needed a good laugh! "

So I think your idea is a good one but I still think that WGT should Folder up and make a designated area for this stuff....

Agreed Bootsie.....this will give me a way to deal with the ones i receive. Not going to just give it away anymore......show me something....make an effort to improve and i will help. Hope it works, would feel better about people earning it the way i and so many others did.

I'm sure that some top level players have exploited the ability to gift gear by creating a second account....then immediately gifting top level gear to their low level player.

Just another reason why I'm never going to enter anymore tournaments....

I just love it when the women say to be their friend you need to send them a gift of clubs or balls. Is this a sugardaddy gamesite now?
