I have the G10 irons lvl 59 and the tour preferred irons lvl 63. Which set are better.I like the tour preferred driver better because I can keep it on the fairway easier. My rounds are so inconsistant. One day I shoot a 31 in RG tourny and next a 39.

    Hi

I have not used either so I can't be sure. But, I think both are very good clubs. G10's are legendary with best players using them for years to low very low scores.

You're talking 2 entirely different games with these irons, pfan. I played the TMs for over a year and had a blast with them. They fly low in the wind so there's less affect but they don't handle elevations well. You need that extra spin because you have to stop them.

The G10s fly higher and are more susceptible to the wind but you don't need as much spin to control the landing. They're more accurate too. The biggest difference is how they handle holes like BPB#5 where the hole is way above your second shot. Your TMs fly so low you have to club up to get up there and then it comes in like a freight train and you need the spin to stop them. Very hard to do. With the G10s you come in high and drop on the pin so it's a bit easier to get close.

The TMs do well at Kia and SA but at the other courses your G10s are much better suited. IMO you should go with the G10s. GL

I had and used both of these iron sets for a while, but soon found that the G10's  were better in almost all conditions except high winds at St Andrews, and probably now Royal St George's. The Tour Preferred irons move less in high winds because of the lower flight.

But as soon as you work out how much more to aim with the G10's when playing in high winds, they soon became my choice under all conditions.
