If you are like me, a newbee, and playing with even the EZ clubs and the starter ball, forget the open tournaments. You won't be able to even reach some of the fairways with this setup. Now if you cough up some REAL money and buy yourself some of those fancy custom clubs and vapor trail balls that you can put some spin on then have at it. As for me I work hard for my money and have better things to do with it than buy imaginary items.
