A very weird message appeared on my iPad when I started WGT just now. It simply said “this is GDPR” with the option to accept or decline. I accepted and all normal, not sure what decline would have done. I’m pretty familiar with GDPR requirements. I can only assume this message will be replaced with some suitable text in due course!

Hi Dougal

First, I don't have any knowledge of the mobile game but I would assume it applies to the PC, in this case, too. Interesting as well, I thought it was only a EU wide directive, how it would affect WGT I'm not sure.

Although I live in Germany, I see you have a UK flag too so how all of this is would be thrown up in the air by Brexit is also unclear.

"suitable text in due course" I've heard that somewhere before : ))

I had the same text on the android device - but being suspicious I declined - having googled what GDPR is I prbably should have accecpted ... lets hope I havent damamged anything :-(
