I've been playing golf games for well over 20 years now (showing my age a little) and dont think i've ever played another golf game where green speed defaults to a certain speed to match your level.  It becomes very easy to remember how a speed plays and where to hit the meter when you only play 1 type.  You should make green speeds totally random, would make the courses feel a ton fresher and should make distance putting a bit more fun.

I like that idea, would make the game more realistic.

They could factor green hardness in-soft, medium, hard- with the different green speeds and have a whole lot of different scenarios.

Like the wind dried them out and it's like putting on glass or it rained and now we are putting in mud. I love the idea.

But how would you know what you were putting on hole to hole?

May as well remove the MPH from the wind gauge.

Play Ready Go tourneys. You never know what you're going to get then. Sometimes tourney greens are very fast. Sometimes they are tourney speed. Some tourneys have just fast greens. Legend tier on Congressional has Championship. I've seen Legend Tier tourneys with very fast. I've seen very fast greens play slower than very fast.

    You get the idea.

I haven't created a game in quite awhile but can't you chose what green speed you want the game your creating to be?

I don't think the random he meant was hole by hole. If you and I go play a ranked round we get the Legend speed greens, period. We both know this going in. However, let that green speed be random too,  for that round.
