Ok so I enjoy golf on WGT and playing in real life because it shows what an individual is made of, its very much a sport geared towards the individual. But at the same time I really enjoy team sports. So why not combine the two?
So how about a tournament, the top 3 players on WGT, such as BolluxInBruges, Yoban and Spozz versus the top 3 OPS, which I know are all good players. Effectively giving you 6 teams.
Each team can have 300 players on it; 50 Amateurs, 50 Pro's, 50 Tour Pro's, 50 Masters, 50 Tour Masters and 50 Legends. making the tally 301 including the captain of each team. It would have to be on a first come first serve basis for each of the 50 players from their individual Tiers with the discretion of substitutions or dropping of players falling on the captains of each team.
There after once the teams are decided, each of the 50 players from their respective tiers will play each one of the WGT courses (NOT Cabo Del Sol) in a stroke play competition, each time they play a different course they play a member from a different team, meaning 6 games, 6 different opponents each from a different team. The same will go for the captains of each team, but they will only play their opposing captains. After each player has played all 6 courses against 6 different opponents we can tally up the score and see which team clocked up the most wins, effectively making them the victorious team.
I think this could be ALOT of fun, and there need not be prizes or anything, just bragging rights that Team X crunched team Y.
