    why do some people get more coins than me in the head to head contests?

    Simple, it's in the apparel they have chosen.

    When I play the coin games, I change my apparel.   The clothing I choose, with the higher levels, I recieve an 11 % bonus.  So instead of winning the standard 450,000 coins, I recieve 499,500.  Helps to win the turf wars, but the colors and styles are hideous,  so during all other play, I wear the usga clothing.

    I get a 15 % bonus for apparel but the coins I win stays the same. I thought I was getting 15% xp’s

    If you opt for other apparel, each has its own attributes, some specialize on distance of different clubs, some give more spin, putting accuracy, etc.  Others enhance coin bonuses, and xp bonuses. Choose the clothing that suits your needs.  Top golf visor gives me 3% bonus on coins, max shoes, I get 4% on coins, and top golf shorts gives 4% .  As you spend more coins on upgrading these, the % goes up.
