  Would like to be able to pause the game with all players agreeing, rather than having to run to the bathroom and miss a shot, a full game is very long to not have the opportunity to get up, grab a drink, or whatever else is a short term need, would be beneficial.

  just let the other players outdrive you on a par 4 or 5...hitting 1st from the fairway, stick the pin on your approach...in a 4 man game you could walk away for 5 minutes and it still won't be your shot.

  a hidden element of excitement if you will.

  I think this is a great idea. To add to it, be able to close out of the game entirely and come back to it while inviting the others players to resume the game at a later time.
