  Hi,

  Played my 2nd shot on the 1st hole at St Andrews, cleared the Swilken Burn but laeft it safely on the fringe, imagine my surprise when the screen cleared for my 3rd shot, only to find myself left with a 13 yard shot from the wrong side of the Burn !

  Above are the links to the differences, how can the ball jump backwards over the burn after coming to rest on the other side ? the screenshots are on my profile page because I couldn't get them to load on here,

  Most likely, you got a 'free drop' for an immovable obstruction.

  I have had the same happen before.

  Landed short on the green , spin back to the fringe (close to getting wet) 3rd shot other side of the burn.

  (free drop immovable obstruction)

  Edit: took a look at your screen shots (same thing) just one of those things I guess.
