Re: Ball moved by the game into STA Burn!

  Three of us start a multi-player ranked stroke play game on the front nine of St. Andrews while talking on Skype.

  Ed's second shot on #1 from 38yds, downwind 15, goes into the burn.  He gets a drop in front of the burn, 13 yds from the pin.

  Ed is surprised his wedge ended up in the water.  While the 3 of us discuss Ed's calculation of power, allowance for the wind, what we would have done, it happens all the time etc. etc.....the shot clock times out. And the screen reloads.

  We now see Ed standing in the water!  The ball having been moved 4 yards closer to the hole BY THE GAME!    And lie indicator in the bottom right corner shows he is in WATER!

  At least the game was kind enough to place the ball on a tee!

  Shortly after taking the screen shot, Ed got the "Sorry, there has been an error with the game....." message.

  Yep, Ed got bit on the big toe by a turtle and will be out of action for 2 days, poor fella.

  Ed and I reproduced the problem easily.  Multiplayer ranked stroke play.  Hit it in the burn, when its the players turn after the drop, let it time out.  Ball is moved into the burn as above and Error in the Game message comes up.
