Actually, common sense suggests that people are not entitled to compensation simply because they were inconvenienced (in a very minor way).
And how does a player lose a ball because of server interruptions? I'm not saying it can't happen. I just don't understand how. Besides, if you really did lose a ball because of WGT, then just contact customer service. I've had them replace lost balls before due to glitches in the game.
But it makes no sense for them to start giving out balls on a general basis when not everyone was affected.
