Some browsers have the ability to store files as offline cache.  Perhaps, the jpg files could be stored in that manner.  Those files are constant, and it might help to reduce congestion on the servers.

    Use Google Chrome.

    Clear your own cache often

    Browser and Flash.

    Enable background loading

and dont allow anything else on your network to be doing anything , or limit them.

Its usually not server issues, but your own setup.

First, to improve loading that would be the last thing to do is clear your cache.  I don't have loading problems.  But to decrease server load, why not utilize offline cache.  It is not the same as your regular cache.

Well every file in your cache is checked every time the site tries to load and it compares the files in your cache to the ones it wants to download = time delay.

So therefore for every new angle you are going to hit from , there is delay checking your scene files and then delay to load the ones WGT wants.

How big will your 'offline cache' get?
How many, superfluous files do you want to keep? Which ones are they?

Anyways, Helps me out. I rarely get meter error and I load up pretty quick on an  8032/384 KB/s connection (slow by most standards)

The files are checked to see if the hash "ETag" has been changed.  Hence, the number of bytes transered is like 50 and thus delay is in milliseconds, inconsequential.

As for superfluous files, I  run with two profiles, one for WGT and one for general internet.  Thus, only the files from WGT are stored on my computer, nothing else.

    From the FireFox Help files:

    FireFox Help:

Tell me when a website asks to store data for offline use: Allows websites to store data necessary to be used without an internet connection.

The Offline cache is only used if a site intends to be used without an internet connection.  I don't see how this helps reduce server congestion.

Well, it was a thought.  I realize that aspect.
