    AlaskanDame:

Huh!  A heartbeat?  I always thought it was a cannon shot of celebration -- a 1-gun salute.  In my play, I've had loud and less-loud, depending on how far away I was for the shot.  Loud for 185-yarder getting to one foot, for instance, but less-loud for 150-yarder doing the same.  I believe the former was on Pinehurst.

The first time I heard it, I thought it was a mic drop. 😂

I first heard the heart beat when playing Closest to the Hole, and i think during Blitz play.  Have not heard it on stroke play long, maybe 2 years.  Only time I ever hear it is when I screw-up an approach shot and it lands very close to the pin.  My Nickle.

Also, When you used to hear it in other types of play i remember a 2 part heart beat, much easier to identify.  Maybe the 2 part sound effect isn't being used anymore?  Havn't played CTTH or Blitz, since forever.  But based on the old sound effect is why I had always thought it was a heartbeat.  My Nickle.
