A fellow player just told me taking gimme putts counts as two hits on your ball. My understanding is putts dont count,why would gimmes? Looking for an answer from any of the mods or any of you super knowledgeable guys out there. Ty.
They may have mixed up gimmes with mulligans in practice rounds. Mulligans would take two strokes while putting from the durability of the ball.
