    I see irons in the Pro Shop by Hogan and a few others withpractically the same specs as the starter irons, is there a advantage to upgrading to these clubs??

    I don't see any Hogan irons that faintly resemble the starter irons.  Start with Precision of 0.5 on starters and 2.0 to 4.5 on Hogans.  Spin is also much better.

    Maybe I missed something - let me know which ones you saw with "practically the same specs"?

    The Edge L15 are pretty close.

    I get it now.. Picked up the Edges and there is a difference ;)

    Good.  More distance and precision always help and spin is good once you learn it!
