Exactly, that's why you have to think like a golfer. If you know the nominal yardage is 224 based on basic match, then it's up to you to figure out how to get that number.
Experienced types will factor in things like top spin affect on direction and distance, how back spin holds the shot up for a bigger wind influence, etc,, etc. The gist of it all is to know what your stuff does. :-)
