The people who have been here for a couple of years, had only the green woods, free irons, two crappy wedges and the no distance/no spin golf balls. Many of our best players, that are still here could, at times, break 60 or 30 using these clubs. They just learned to play.

There are many on line games which don't cost money to get better equipment, to improve your performance.

Or may be you could save a few dollars here and there so you could purchase better clubs. Like most players here do.

Or you could get a job and buy clubs. Like most players here do.

Or you could spend most of your day's and night's practicing with the clubs you are given to know all the courses and the shots......remember this is a "computer game"

    Have a nice day..........................

in this day and age of uncertainty, a person must realize that what they want may not be what they can get.  therefore severe judgement of what you want verses what you can get must be made and suffecient plans must be put into play.  by the way begging doesn't go over on wgt well.

      my nickel.

I'm still playing with the starter clubs.I rented a putter with my very small amount of winnings( .050),I also wound like to try new clubs but have not spent the funds to do it.I don't think it's begging to ask for ways to earn more credits to try  different clubs.I'd like to see something like a free club rental on a level up.That gives new players more of a chance to see what the game involves and perhaps more interest in the game to actually make a purchase to buy new clubs.I like this game and new clubs or not I'll keep playing.

i saved evry nickel i earned/or not, and purchesed new clubs when i could afford them. i think his circumstances are simular to what mine are. do surveys etc. until you can go to the pro shop. i made a deal with my wife for her to do all my present shopping in the pro shop until i had all i wanted. she sgreed readily. took 3 shopping trips in 9 months. she said it was cheaper than most presents she would have bought, eaiser, no returns, and everything fit! good luck, my nickel.
