I'm about to hit level 79 and am contemplating upgrading my G10 irons to the Burner 2.0s. From what I gather, the Burners are a worthwhile upgrade. However, I have noticed that most of the people saying so are playing with very high level balls with quite a bit of feel. For the time being, I don't plan on paying more for balls than the GI-SD. With that in mind, am I better off sticking with my G10s until I upgrade my ball type, or is the meter speed increase offset by the other club attributes even with the GI-SD?

There really isn't much difference in the meter speed, in spite of how it looks. I'm usually using Srixons or Callaways, but I've never had much trouble hitting the meter when I've played with the GI-SD's ( or even with any of the non-feel balls).

I played with the Tour-SD when I first got them and got used to the meter really quick. The way the Burners swing smooth from start to ding makes it a bit easier. With that ball you're using I think you will do just fine. GL

p.s., I got hooked on the Callaway s ball shortly thereafter simply because the combination of the 2 is sick.  :-)

Thanks for the advice, guys. I really appreciate it. Compounded with getting my first Dove ball in well over a week and today is turning into a good day haha
