  How do I get invited to play another player in the coin rooms? Currently, I have to choose a room and a player mysteriously accepts to play. How do I get to accept to play someone else?

  Same thing - the game just matches up players looking for a game.

  Please answer my questions. I already understand that the game matches people. That is not what I am asking.

  When you enter a coin room the game matches you with another player looking to match in that coin room. 

  It does not send an invite to a random player to join you.

  If you want to play with people who are your friends, then use Game Mode.....play friends option.  You can still choose 3 holes or nine, but not the course and it won’t be for coins.  

  Switch to desktop or laptop if you really like playing with people you know.  There are 2-person matches and 4-person play there, by you inviting or being invited.
