  Just for my own curiosity.  Does the durability rating of a given ball indicate the amount of play allowed with that ball?

  I am playing the WGT GI-SD presently, with a durability rating of 1 ball.  I have compared it to the Srixon Z-Star, which has a durability rating of 2.5 balls.  Does that really mean I would get 2.5 times the play from that ball (assuming I can keep it out of the weeds/water)?

  It's not linear like that...1 dot is about 80-85 hits, 2.5 dots is about 110 or so hits.  Neither take putts into account, unless you are putting from the fringe.

  Thanks a lot for the info MB.

  So if I did the math correctly, using 80 & 110 shots, the cost/shot works out almost exactly the same. .005.  Interesting!!  I wonder if that would hold true throughout the whole line?

  WGT certainly wouldn't want to let you to putt from the fringe for free, they would lose $$$$........LOL

  For sure...I've had so many balls trickle uphill and just onto the fringe, to know why it happens...lol.
