Too all the non believers who want to call great players cheats , i say this to you. I,m a very good player i have 2 / 58s to my credit since turning legend, & many more chances to do it. Now for the reason i don,t have more than 2 rds. breaking 60, THE PUTTER..................... Too all the non believers here is how these guys do it. They can flat out putt.Example my putts per rd. is 1.56 way too high. My 1 putt % 48 way to low.the guys that are fireing low numbers do it because they can putt.these guys putts per rd. is 1.40 to 1.45 & 1 putt % 55 to 60 %...... in a 18 hole game that can add up to 4 to 6 less putts a rd.so insted of a score of 60 there shooting53 / 54 / 55...1 more thing is theres more to this game than just hitting the ball from tee to green. the good players know there math , they know there clubs & how far they can hit them ia any conds. But mainly they know how to read the greens & they understand to be great players you have to do more than just hit the ball....Well this is just 1 players take on low scores.........So before calling players cheaters understand how too play  then you may think different thank you  & good day Blue chew ( Greg)

I just wanted to add that I have been here for more that two years...I thought the low scores, when I started, were impossible and that something had to be wrong.  Now that I understand the game better, I realize that the only reason I can not shot that low is because of me.  First, I don't have the hand eye coordination and I don't play until my fingers bleed.

Cheat is a nasty word in WGT Land Blew, as we all know it...lol.

My stats don't show it but I'm 1 putting more now and getting the lower scores... as Joey said... the only thing that holds me back is my slow brainwaves moving down to my trigger finger...lol.

As a fellow Legend who has come up through the ranks, I know that the low scores with the present day great clubs we have is making the game easier for all of us. People in the lower grades sometimes don't understand this.

Maybe people in the lower Tiers are getting annoyed at the very low scores that the golfers are shooting at the moment, they might not understand how it's done, but with a bit more practice, they too can be better golfers .... so don't take it to heart and go with the flow.

I can tell you though.. one thing I don't like is Am/Hacks with high 50's Ave's winning heaps of credits... now that is a bit suspect and WGT should change the rules so these people can be fast tracked through the system.

    Cheers

Putting is everything it turns a 60 into 56 turns a 31 into a 28. Only real tip I can give on putting haft to understand how a putt brakes on the real course before you can apply it on here.

The point the OP and subsequent posters have made regarding putting is absolutely the key to this game. You become a good putter and you'll score well all the time. Master the run off the pitch and chip shots and you'll hole a lot more off the green than if you rely on the flop shot all the time. Become good at both and you'll see bogeys virtually disappear off your card.
