REPRINTED FROM A WORLD FAMOUS POET
"ok!"
Sometimes we feel so happy, sometimes we just feel sad
And so we turn alternate, but that just makes us mad
We thought of it as the pinnacle, we thought it the very best
And now we cannot keep it, just like all the rest
And now we cannot keep it, just like all the rest
-
We tried so hard to linger, at this place we could not keep
And now we sadly stumble, and as for me, I weep
It was so good that we had yesterday, our memories we can share
But you cannot wrap a memory, in arms that show you care
Leaves will autumn fall, land soft on barren ground
Leaves will autumn fall, land soft on barren ground
-
I thought of late of dying, from all about I've seen
From tee to rough and fairway, to sad neglected green
Where now goes that joy, a foursome once could share
My wanders now are lonely and oft are filled with tears
And down I lay my pointers, my clubs and all my balls
Redundant now , that I go my path, in answer to other calls
