  Hey would anyone else like to change the Thursday Friday format?maybe Wednesday Thursday? I think we as members can effect this change if enough people and clubs want this to happen it can be changed.

  When held on Thursday/Friday people can stay up late on Friday night. Don't have to work on Saturday. Now I know some have to work on Saturday but not many will stay late on Thursday if they have to work on Friday. Follow me. lol

  Since WGT doesn’t have a way to keep track of individual scores after the end of the event like you can in Turf Wars, I would like to keep it ending on a Friday night, (Saturday morning). Or have it ending sooner in the US instead of 2 AM CT.

  It would be nice to see a clash style bracket event. Possibly take the top 128 clubs from a  previous clash and randomly match clubs in the bracket. Keep the same rules of the clash just increase each round to possibly 8 hrs to benefit the 4 corners of the earth. Would probably see more participation in clubs when their clash can be over in one round. It would still take the 48 hours give or take.

  I JUST WISH THEY WOULD CHANGE THE PRIZE STRUCTURE ! THE PRIZES FOR 4TH TO 50TH IS NOT AND DIFFERENT BUT THE EFFORT TO GO FROM 50TH TO 4TH IS HUGH !

  Im just getting back into Wgt. Had allot of personal issues this last year.   i definitely would like to be more involved in our CC. So any help along the way I'd appriceatte.

  They should do away with clash. Prizes aren’t all that good for the effort as some have said.  
  clashing also doesn’t account for skills but more on number of players. A group of 25 players can post fantastic scores for 4 hours non stop and would lose to at full capacity where players spend endless hours hitting the ball posting cards. If wgt would divide max to number of players and allocate scores based on that clashing would probably make sense and if they put better prizes.

  To answer the OP’s question and get this back on subject, my opinion is that Th/Fri is far, far better than how Clashes were at first......which was FRI/SAT.  That sked  really overloaded the servers on Saturday when many of us in the U.S finally have a chance to play multiplayer rounds with club mates and other friends from across the pond (including arranging matches for cc v cc competitions).  

  So, my club would not like to see a change  that takes away “free” weekend time.

  I hope they don't have the clash over Boxing day seems silly with lots of ppl visiting and not fit to play(lol)....did they have a clash on Xmas day last yr?
