  No offence intended!

  I see 11,000 balls drained in 1,200 RRs (plus CTTH etc.), that's 36,000 crs in the cheapest balls. (and, from the known numbers, 150 times more frequent splashes than other players)

  May I suggest some course management to avoid such onslaught, or to play courses with less water?

  That does raise a new concern.  Maybe a creek stick isn't such a good idea in his case.  Given his propensity for losing things in the water, he's very likely to drop the creek stick into the water as well.

  Perhaps a fishing game would suit him better.

  They could set up an HMO where a board decides whether the ball is worth saving on a case by case basis.

  Actually, I've always thought a subscription approach to ball purchases would be a good idea. Simply have the person pay a set price for unlimited balls for a certain time period rather than having to purchase a sleeve (or two or three or whatever people purchase) at a time.
