  Are they meant to be final when they are first posted?

   

  Time and again I check back in and sometimes several hours after scores have first been posted there will be another new score around the top of the leaderboard and everyone will have dropped down a place. Is this right? Doesn’t feel right that’s for sure!

  Nope, it only shows those players who have already played. 

  Depending on how quickly an event fills up there could be anywhere from 1 to 10 or more players waiting to complete their round.  Once the event fills up, everyone who hasn't completed their round has 12 hours from the time the RG fills up to post a score.

  Hence the changes you observe.
