Woohooo... I just won my first R/Go as a Legend on the Cabo Front9.. with a 29, which is surprising for a winning score. I won a few as 'TM' but this win is very special... Thanks everybody for letting me win it...lol

    Very Very Happy

     Cheers

Congrats Roger, it's always a good feeling to win them, it's getting tougher to do so with each passing month. Bizarrely I had a 27 on that 9 on Saturday and didn't win!!! Then on the Sunday a 29 which did win. Sometimes it's just down to a bit of luck to get 1st place. Love that 9 though, someone is going to come in with a 25 on it sooner or later...

Thanks T and K... very surprised at the 29 winning it. I pared the 1st, then 6 birds in a row, then Par, Bird...

The 26's are great scores, UL coming 2nd with one of them.I would have been spewing....lol

I know Tiff, The course is/can be easy, There are 3 eagle holes on there, the 2 par 5's and the short par 4 which can be driven.  I'm still working out the 8th though, had a double on there Sunday and Par yesterday and tnite.

It's also good to putt on greens that are not that evil too....lol

But the greens at Cabo are somewhat f**ed up, some holes just flat and some holes crazybreaks, but its nice and i havent played it many times.

That first RG win feels great, you feel like you're top of the world. Great 29 off Legend tees on a fairly unknown course. I remember hitting a 28 in the Master RSG back 9 Ready-Go. All the approaches just went weirdly right, except for GIR missed on 16 and 50ft 2putt on 18 :(

The Cabo greens are a real challenge in places, and dead flat long putts in others. The area 15ft long or short on #7 is a dead flat spot of green, whereas the #11 green around the pin is of similar difficulty to BPB 15 back pin. Only if you avoid that very inviting eagle putt going left ;-)

Thks Sgt... I've won a few of em when I was TM, but this is the first as a Legend and very special.

The green on the 1st is very tricky, can be easy to miss short putts on that one. Still trying to work out the 8th,  scrambling pars on that one most of the time. The short par4, I'm driving most of the time and Eagle chance on there is very good, the 2nd Par 5 is very gettable on the 2nd shot, so an Eagle on there looks good too. Well that's the theory...lol.. This all depends on Wind of course. I can see very low 20's shot on the Front9 shortly.

My approach shots a terrible...lol. I'm in the 18-20ft ave range from the pin, have to work on that, but my Putts are deadly which is keeping me the game.
