Not sure if I'm missing the point or maybe some functionality somewhere, but what use is point of winning $ if you cannot buy anything with it?

Your career earnings is the total amount of credits you have already won. It can not be redeemed for anything. For example, if you've won 1,000 credits, your career earning will display $10.00
The only thing you can buy with "winnings" are clubs and balls and clothes and a few other things in the PRO SHOP.

When you conduct a transaction, it is a https page - which is secure. The game pages do not need to be secure.
