  What is it with the heart beats?? Is it because I am having such a good tee off and the game is anticipating me getting an ace or ??????????? I hear it all the time. There is nothing really exciting after it happens. Please explain some one what the heck it is??

  The heartbeats happen in CTTH competitions when your shot is going to end up within 10 ft of the flag.

  Not always.  Just the other day I hit a shot, I believe it was the Nov CTTH, the heart beat sound started, the ball hit the flag stick and stopped 15 feet away.  I think that was the first time, for me, that a heart beat shot ended up outside 10 feet.  Something to do with hitting the flag stick I guess?

  FIY I dont get the heart beat at all anymore. I've put shot within 10ft and even 

  made a hole in one on pinehurst not a whisper of a heart beat. Don't know

  what happened to it either.
