I believe that if you are the player who starts up a new game between multiple players, that the green speed should be set to your tier level. Same as how you picked the course, time limit and timeouts.

Or have it set that you only play hack to hack etc.
When setting up a multiple player game, just set it up at your tier or below and the green speed will be set at your current tier level.
Or, you take the challenge and learn how to putt on the faster green. It's not rocket science!

Exactly. I entered an alt shot game one time and the host told me to f off and take my champ greens with me.. I said sure I'll leave but you will never learn if you don;t even try and the same to you!
