On numerous occasions on the right hand side of fairway, hit the ball straight at the pin only to see it go 50 yards right. Even with a down hill lie, this is not right. Has stuffed my round on a number of occasions.
If you have a 30 MPH wind Left to Right, you would be aiming 39-41 feet left.
I just played it and had no problem myself. You have been around since 2012 so you know how to play. Might have been something figuring the wind.
Literally, I have never had a problem on that hole. I've always found it to be quite straightforward. I don't always birdie it, but I don't think I've ever scored worse than par.
You were probably behind one of those mounds or ridges in the fairway, aimer got "caught" on one of those, and poof it goes 45 degrees to the right. Easy way around this is to use the minimap to move the aimer.
