dchallenger: I was referring to the game of GOLF.
While talking exclusively about average, you certainly weren't. Ching Chang Chong.
On a serious note: I would not compare WGT's average to a GOLF handicap.
Opposite to a handicap, the average is not being used to compare scores of different players. It is not taken into account in matches or tournaments but only valid for tiering purpose.
Also, while a bad round in RL has an indirect influence on the USGA handicap, this is not happening in WGTland. Here, bad scores are discarded when the average is relevant, i.e. after saturation.
dchallenger: All Ranked rounds must be completed and posted to achieve an accurate and Official Handicap.
In GOLF, true only in countries where the USGA handicap rules are used. Not true elsewhere, e.g. in Germany. Here, a WD or a high score will raise the official HCP by 0.1. BTW: We don't post scores like you do - "ranked" scores are handled by the clubs in tournaments and EDS rounds.
