say what you like. the bottom line is that if the wager is 100, the winner is only netting 80 PERIOD. that is 80%

You're betting 100 to get 90, not 80. Subtract the fee before you do the math.

again, say what you want, you end with 80 but your bet was 100.

LOL-No it wasn't. It cost you 10 credits to get in the door. You only bet 90!

Now, if you want to talk about ROI (return on investment) then you're correct. :-)

I can't play match play but I think the thought process is right and I have said it before.  In Vegas for example, you bet 110 to win 100.  If you lose, then you lose the bet of 100 plus the juice of 10, if you win you get the whole 110 back plus the 100, thus on both sides of a bet in Vegas they are making 5% (10% on the loss side and 0% on the win side of a straight up bet).  In WGT they take 10% juice on both sides of the bet so when you win you only get 90 from the loser and you don't get back your juice so you only win 80 credits.  In any event WGT has managed to take twice the cut that Vegas takes on wagers.

Your all correct.  as you all have stated the math shows that WGT takes 10% of the total bet.   10% of each bet or 10% of the total .. they still only take 10%.

So in a 100 credit game where each person puts up 100 credits.  They take 20 cents.

And yes .. that is twice the Vegas cut.    Those are the facts and the rules of the game.
