    SamSpayed:
Robert, is WGT going to be offering any support for this event, eg. discounted clubs or balls, donations, or maybe even Tap-In Rewards to encourage donors?

    PM sent.

    Robert1893:

So, I think we'll be all set to start the Christmas in July thread on Monday, July 13 and will run for 5 days.

I'm assuming there's going to be a clash this week, and I don't want to interfere with that. Plus, WGT indicated that running it through the week is better for them rather than over the weekend.

After the request thread is started, I'm going to ask WGT to lock this thread.

    Awesome job Robert, thank you.

Great idea and looking forward to it.

    See you then :o)

p.s. Do you know if it will advertise by WGT on the News ?

    Yes, that's my understanding.

Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it.

Please be sure to post to the request thread:

    http://www.wgt.com/forums/p/642302/4321139.aspx#4321139

And also, if you could, please be specific with your requests. While I understand you have all starter equipment and anything would be appreciated, it really helps Santa if you could specify your preferences.

Most players start with a driver or wedges.

No doubt. That's why it's so important for players to specify what they want.

I believe it's much more important that players receive what they want rather than what I (or any Santa) might believe they actually need. Personally, I think the putter is the last club that anyone should upgrade. But that might just be me.

So the "Request" thread is locked ....I assume you are not taking anymore requests? I wanted to post for a player that could really use some help....

The request thread should not be locked. I opened it up last night (around 10:30 EDT). And a couple of people have already posted to it this morning.
