"Virtual" means, among other things, "striving for reality".

So, we have new GI-SD balls.  And we have the new Z Satin Taylor-Made 64 degree wedge.  In reality a sleeve of new Titleist Pro V1's would cost about $12.  And the wedge would cost about $120.  Thus the balls are 1/10th the cost of the wedge.

At WGT the balls cost roughly 1/2 the price of the wedge!

So WGT either needs to raise the price of the wedge or lower the price of the balls to achieve a reality price structure.

Just my personal thought on the matter.

Agreed, I looked at the price of the new GI-SD balls...... then at the durability......laughed and bought some more GI-D balls.

The pricing logic for golf balls would seem to go hand in glove with the logic used to determine the "in the drink" award. There is no logic. My personal favorite that follows this logic is the selling point used on the variety of WGT pro starter putters: "not the most precise putter in the game".....
