Most of the time when i play out of the bunker with the cleveland 64 degree wedge, i always use full backspin, but its like spin doesn't work.  The ball rolls for miles.  This never used to happen with the zatin, ball would stop quite well, but its like the clevelands dont register spin when playing from bunker.  You might be lucky and get 1 bunker shot out of 10 that does actually slow down, but usualy ball will roll for miles down the green.

It's always been like that, Chris. I've always presumed that you cannot generate any spin from a bunker, and accepted it as part of the game.

    Was it ever different?

compared to the zatin that seemed to stop quite well, not much roll. but the cleveland wedge seems to roll for miles, and you'd think it would be other way round due to the cleev'es higher spin..

A lot of stuff is bass ackward on this site... like a shot today with my PW full bs callaway legend ball.. the ball lands 2 ft. in front of the cup and then rolls 17 ft. past the cup... must of hit a hump in the green.. sure looked flat on the replay. sure is frustrating when you hit a good shot that turns out to be a crap shot.
