The good players say they just feel how much break to play.  What got them to that point?  Don't say practice, look how may rounds I've played and my level 127.  Maybe some has a clue for me?

I don't use formulas but probably should, but I still make some putts, I mostly use aim points and just adjust it how I feel the putt will go,  watch the Young46 aim point videos

The only way you will make putts is join our club...lol

seriously I think the guys who say they play by feel is because after a while you won’t need to calculate putts anymore you will just know the formula in your head will aim and shoot..like I don’t need to calculate a 20 foot put on 12 speed anymore I just now know I hit it 15 feet and it will be the correct distance and just adjust the aim...

    Gerry...

I have trouble making a putt over 5 feet !!  I think that, like any other discipline in life, some people are simply good at it, while others struggle.

For example, I outworked everyone in my math class, yet 75% was my reward. Others did very little and made high 80's.
