  Hopefully we can get a solution since I've seen several say they are having same problem.

   

  I have desktop MAC, i download through the link, I get a window that has WGT icon and one that is Applications folder. I hit the WGT and I get what looks to be small game window with error message, something like forbidden, run patch in....

   

  What the hell does that mean???

  You wont be able to launch the game directly from the DMG. Once you open the DMG, drag the WGT app to your Applications folder and then close the DMG. Go to your Applications folder after this and then launch the WGT App from your Mac's Applications folder.

  I am having a similar issue with Windows 10 - I can't open/play the game after I download and click on the shortcut link on my desktop.
