    JuanMendoza:

    That's not pressure.

Pressure is hiding behind some sandbags, desperately trying to reload your RPG, while a tank and an APC are blasting away at your cover.

Or Lee Travino: pressure is a 4' putt for $20 and you dont have $20 on you.  paraphrased, but you get the point.

Congrats on making Legend! Now you can enjoy the incredible holes like #2 BPB, #4 CCC, #9 Oakmont, #17 St. Andrew's, and many other frustrating ones!

Thankyou all for your interest and genuine encouragement.  I had a debacle not long after posting this thread - we lost internet conection for three days!  Oh the wailing and knashing of teeth!!!!  I lost my 60 something conseq days bonus, saw a tour tournament had started, and couldn't respond on the forums - via the wifes ipad which was the only thing able to connect to the outside world.

But I'm back now, have totally blown an RG (three days off felt like 200 and I putted like it) and shot a score in the tournie to be 1 shot outside the cut.......the fun has begun again!  :)

this sounds hard ... and expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not sure i wanna go much further.. i wanna learn how to get better first LOL

The answers are: YES! ... and YES! The solution: take your time on the journey up the tiers and levels, and spread your play amongst all the courses available - do NOT just play the 1 or 2 courses or sides where you can score well easily.

By the time you start climbing in to the higher tiers you'll be ready for the increased challenge, rather being rudely awakened.
