Re: Ping Rapture or G10 irons?

  Hi All,

  I'm L33 Pro - 74 looking to upgrade my first set of irons from the starters.

  I'm tossing up between the Ping 2010 Rapture V2 (L33+) and G10 (L35+) irons (have slow meter Rapture driver already in the bag).

  What are people's opinions on these sets and which should get me furthest along before my next upgrade? I'm also mindful of getting irons with same meter speed as my driver but that I'll also need to move to faster meter speed later.

  Hello Turbo I just purchased the Raptures set 2010 and some calloway balls. The driver is amazing and the slower speed dial is nice to I`m very happy with the clubs

  With a slow meter driver, I would almost say to go with the raptures, or wait a few more levels and go with the K15 set.  The 9i distance of 200 yrds will last you a little longer than the G-10s.  Meter consistency is important though, as I think you understand pretty well given your post.

   

  I've been using the Lvl 49? Rapture irons for a while now and I like them, but I'm about to upgrade to the lvl 60? G-10 set.  Eventually, you will have to go with faster meters, so why not get use to them sooner rather than later.
