Why can't we keep scored game and save it and go to play a tourney or something?  WGT said no...that's stupid as sometimes we are in scored, have to play a tourney and can't keep the saved game.

Is there a reason this site can't have 2 games and 1 of them saved?????  I don't mean playing 2 at once either.  I mean save scored game and go back to it....WGT won't give a reason.  Does anyone know?

    Thanks!

No reason I can think unless it's some difficult programming issue.

Be nice to enter a tourney...stop if need be.  Play some thing else and come back to the tourney later.

I'll give ya some luv on the post!

because there is no point at all! why are you sooooo worried for info on this? I just dont see the point besides mabye cheating which is pretty much impossible to do like that! I am really curious on why you want it to be like this?

Pull head from hind quarters, please stay close now, don't want to lose you.you close

Log on, and enter a tourney.

3 holes in, something comes up, so you close and exit.

An hour later you come back and  get an invite with a buddy for a game. Can't play his/her game, without forfeiting your tourney game.

What the heck does "Cheating" have to do with that?

What does cheating have to do with playing a scored game saving it and come back to play a tourney and you have too forfeit your scored game??...All I am saying is why can't you save a scored game and come back to it at a later date without missing an invite for a game or playing in a tourney?  Someone replied thats cheating..What?  How in the world is that cheating?

Let's say for the sake of discussion you are allowed to save any scored/ranked game and then start another.

In the first game your facing a  15 ft downhill slider for eagle.  So you save it.

You then start a 2nd game, same course, same conditions.  You play to the green with the eagle putt.  You practice that 15 ft putt and you now have an idea how much break to give it.

You quit that game and go back to the first.  You have a much better chance of making that eagle.

Rinse and repeat for every critical shot.

    That's how cheating gets involved.

id love to have the option of saving a game - for example ill be waiting on a guild game or something like that and ill play a round cos im sitting around  then ill get an invite for a game but ill hafta quit that game to play the guild game. each to their own i guess but thats what i would use that option for. thats happened many times in the past and ive wondered why theres no option for it. but andyson makes a valid point there altho nothing is guaranteed with an eagle putt :D

Thank you for your response but wasnt saying to save a scored game and go to another scored game.  What I was asking if you save one scored game and have a TOURNEY to play...Those arent the same things....or someone invited you to an alt.

    Does that make sense?
