  I have Lvl 7 Swing Edge hat with gives me +57 on driver. This equals 267 yds from my usual 255 yd driver. It only works in coin games. In solo tourneys, my driver reverts to 255. 

  Is this normal?

  Same goes for +power on irons and 3W, not available in solo tourneys.

  Yes

  Although apparel also works when playing in a Clash

  It also works if you set up a multi-player game and set APPAREL BONUS to ON.
