Exactly what the heck is with all the extreme high winds tournaments going on?

Seems that 25-30 mph winds are on all the July Tournaments, the E Open, etc etc etc.

I have totally given up trying to break Par on these. Seriously.

But I guess if one player can record a score of 54 in any situation, every single time, in 25-30 mph winds, I must be doing something wrong. Again.

Lets drop the stupid extreme winds in the Monthly tournaments.

Tired of windy gusty tournaments. = wgt.

I know this, didn't want to say it.  Thanks though.

I, for one, do not think this is funny btw.

Hang in there ... there is a saying from a movie I watched years ago on sailing - that can also apply to winds on WGT.

You can't run from the wind, You trim your sails, face the music, and keep going.

Couldn't agree more - up to 32 mph side winds aren't reflecting golfer's reality at all.

WGT - just carry on with that kinda stuff - just don't be surprised seeing people leave.
