Hi, I am am Pro, and want to know if I am able to enter tournaments at different tier levels. I see other Pros on the Amateur leaderboards and wonder how they are doing this. Is there somehow a way to choose what tier you enter in a tournament? I know I can't enter as a Master, but can I enter as an Amateur?

I became a Pro very quickly as I was familiar with WGT from when it fist started but hadn't really played in a year or so and just got back into these past couple weeks. Even with that, though, my scores are really all over the place and I wonder if I am really a Pro. I am not not interested in sandbagging tournaments, but I may really be consistent with Amateurs at this point.

    Thanks.

What you're seeing are people who moved up a tier AFTER joining the tournament.

So, for example, you join this month's unlimited play tournament as a Pro level player.   Next week, you get promoted to Master.    You can still play that unlimited play tournament that you entered in, despite moving to the Master tier.   You will still hit from the same Pro tees as well and will continue to be listed under the Pro tier in the standings.
