  I just finished 9 holes against an opponent...I thought 9 hole matches count as a ranked round? Trying to move from Master to the next level...!

  If it was a coin game, no they don’t count. Ranked rounds are mostly you versus the game in either individual rounds or individual tourney play. Nor are custom courses or Best of Par 5 and Par 3 counted.

  The only multiplayer rounds that are ranked rounds are the multiplayer stroke play rounds, Head to head, Alt shot, skins and match play don't count.

  What about a club tournie if they have the shot timer on?

  The shot timer doesn't have anything to do with it.  If the club tourney is on a custom course, a Par 3 course, or Best of Par 5s, it won't count as a ranked round.  Otherwise, it will.

  They do count as ranked rounds, but don't count towards saturation and tier promotion. I'm fully aware you know this and it was only a wording slip, just wanted to clear it up for the one asking 😉
