Do stroke tournaments really last 12 hours?

When a ready go gets it's full 50 entrants you then get 12 hours to play your round in. It doesn't take 12 hours to actually play the round

Don't sign up to play until you can actually play - sure there will be the odd occurence when you sign up and get unexpectedly called away, but 12 hours is way way too long.  And allows for too much 'gamesmanship' waiting till the comp is over and checking the scores out.

Almost comparable to the 'random wind' discussion - we can check scores out in RG's but we can't know what the wind is doing cos that might help us choose one different club

    Exactly......

6 hours should be the max timeframe involved  for RG's.

I think it's crap when someone signs up for an RG only to play it 11 hours later.

bugger the rest of the world and 12 hours lol.

when folks sign up regardless of where they live, they should play their round within 6 hours of their sign up time.

where you are does not matter - if you aren't in a RG there will be one available to you, it only removes from the list once you've signed up and played

12 hours is like waiting on Heinz catsup to pour out onto your fries...ANTICIPATION, its making me waiiiiiiiiiiiiittt.   I'll be glad when something else pays out. Yesterday I had 6k credits in my account, played lots of readygos big and small and deleted my funds.  Today I've made 3 separate deposits into account from credit card just so I had enough cr to enter 2k , 1k and 500cr  readygos each time hoping something else will cash out so I can put credit card away.

Now that I've depleted my funds to 0 again, I look at my credit card laying on the table and think.

"That kaiwah 500cr is looking tempting"  LOL
