Hi all...for the past two weeks or so, I have found that the yardage to the hole on my approach shot (or tee shot is a par 3) can substantially change after you hit your shot. What was at first say, a 130yd shot on your address became a 120yd shot mid-flight and you have now sailed the ball right over the hole. This has happened about a half a dozen times and possibly more and while I know the initial response is 'no, you picked the wrong club', I have been watching the yardages closely and I can absolutely confirm that this is a glitch in the Matrix.

Sometimes in this situation, the yardage will say one thing but the ball marker will say something different; I have found that the ball marker is the correct yardage on this SOME of the time, but there is still no way to know when the glitch is going to come into effect.

Very, very frustrating, and it always seems to happen on head-to-head games. Anybody else?

I have seen this, If you add the elevation to the ball marker- it matches the yardage IIRC. Chambers bay B9 par 4 that you can drive the green is this way for sure.

There are several par 3s that dont play to the yardage shown and many have discussed this here in the forums.

The first part just sounds like mistakes made with either wind or just incorrect math for spin/elevation and wind at that given distance.

Well, I am glad to know I have not gone crazy! I am the first to admit that windage/club errors are always a factor, but there were multiple situations that were no way user error and I distinctly recall noticing that the yardage was off before/after. Either way, I just hope they are aware of the situation adn that maybe they fix it some day.

I had posted a long explanation as to how distances were calculated, and such. However, after posting it, and realizing the OP is experienced, and a Legend, I figured I was not stating anything he does not already know.

My apologies for the waste of space.
