  I used that 600 credit Redwood for a long time. I got it when it was introduced and at the time it was the best putter in the Pro Shop. It was very easy to get used to and lasted a long time until the better putters came out.  I would recommend it.

  I agree with YankeeJim. I use the higher leveled Redwood, but if I were in your position I would go with the lower leveled Redwood. Excellent putter. It has meter increments of 15, 30, 45, 90, 150, & 300ft. It may take you a few days or weeks to get used to it. It might not. But if it does then just bare with it. You will learn it in time and you will start sinking putts that you never thought you could of made before. If you stick with it. So I wish you all the luck in the world in your putting venture.   Don't waste your credits on this one.  I had to wait until I reached level 55 to get it.  If falls far short of advertisements.  I have trouble hitting the center mark because of the increased speed of the marker.  But the worst thing is when I have a sharp uphill putt thatis just short of the particular scale, I can't get the ball even close to the holl even with a full swing.  Apparently, little testing was done with this club or someone would have discovered this flaw.  Unfortunately, I can't get anybody from WGT to provide me any explanation or even reply to my emails.

  It sounds to me like you don't know how to switch to a higher scale that will get the ball up there. You don't have to use the scale the game gives you, you can change it with either your scroll wheel, if you have one, or by clicking the arrows in the lower left of the screen next to the end of the meter. That putter has 5 different scales.

  If you already knew that then you should read the Putting Tips in the FAQ. They were written by a player that eventually went to work for WGT and are invaluable. I think this will get you going in the right direction. Do not forsake that putter, it's a good one.GL

  Yes the meter speed of the Redwood is a bit faster than the Daytona, but overall it's really not that fast. Compared to some of the other clubs it's actually very manageable. So meter speed shouldn't even be much of a factor with the Redwood. Very good putter the Redwood. So provided you give a sufficient amount of time to learn it, I'm almost positive you won't be disappointed.

  That is good feedback.  In fact, I did not know about the ability to switch scales.  I'll give that a try.

  Played a round at Bethpage Black using some Srixon balls I wanted to try.  They seem to work much better although I don't see all that much more distance.  Using the changeable meter option (which I did not know about before) during putting, I was able to resolve the distance issue with the Daytona putter.  I guess I will stick with that for now especially if the Redwood is even faster.  Hopefully, I will eventually get used to thespeed and be able to hit the center mark more reliably.
